  Senior Project Manager

Responsibilities:
The Senior Project Manager will develop and manage cross-departmental project teams. This person will work collaboratively with business owners/stakeholders and write business requirements and project proposals. The Senior Project Manager is also required to develop and manage project plans; delivery dates for projects and perform risk assessment analysis. It is also the Senior Project Manager responsibilities to ensure that the program scope and measurable success criteria have been defined. This person will manage and execute budgets for projects, liaison with technical/development staff to manage deliverables for the program and ensure consistent project management processes are followed.

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Ability to both manage a project team and be a strong individual contributor directly involved in the hands-on work necessary to achieve the deliverables
  • Proven project management skills
  • Ability to differentiate between tactical and strategic issues and influence internal and external customers
  • Detail and process oriented

Required Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years project management experience in online, web and/or information technology industries

  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Access) and Microsoft Project/Server or any other project management software

Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities:
The ASP.NET developer will plan, design and implement web applications in C#, ASP.NET and asp 3.0 (active server pages). The ASP.Net Developer will also design and develop the SQL Server database components including schema, performance tuning, data access methods and stored procedures. This person will create, enhance and support requirements for the web application. This person must work well in an agile environment with agile processes .This person will also design database schemas, business rules and access methods for SQL Server alongside building, deploying and maintaining web application and services. This ASP.Net Developer will also be responsible in tuning the performance of web application and database while following the best practices to ensure stability and safety of data and application.

Qualifications and Required Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years developing multi-tier web applications
  • Minimum of 5 years developing database applications with SQL Server 2005
  • Minimum of 4 years developing ASP.NET and C#
  • Minimum of 4 years developing asp (active server pages) with VBScript or JavaScript
  • Minimum 2 years developing web services
  • Expertise in e-commerce and credit card processing

Responsibilities:

The Production Assistant reports to the Director of Production and is responsible for translating and entering auction lot information into the artnet Price Database. Responsibilities:
artnet offers specialized services to the professional art community. Our gallery network serves dealers and art buyers alike by providing a survey of the market and its pricing trends, as well as the means to communicate instantly, inexpensively and globally. Other key areas include artnet Magazine, a free, daily online trade magazine; and the Price Database, the industry standard for illustrated auction price records. The Artist Works Catalogues project is a new division of artnet that aims to create the first quality, respected library of artists’ monographs online.

Artnet is looking for a strong individual with an extensive art background and connections to play a key role in the expansion of the AWC project. Artnet aims to present the project to prominent galleries, foundations, estates, and catalogue raisonne committees, in hope of developing extensive online catalogues and E-books for distinguished modern and contemporary artists. As the public face of the AWC project, the prospective executive should have a well-known and respected reputation in the art world, which would enable him/her to negotiate with and attract top names in the artworld. The position calls for a consultant who will work with the existing AWC team, as well as collaborate with the marketing and sales artnet staff.

Responsibilities:
This full-time position is the perfect opportunity to get involved in the art community at the entry level.

You will be responsible for maintaining contact with art gallery clients, posting artworks and exhibitions to their site and ensuring that their websites are kept current. You will work closely with our Sales Team, processing contracts and keeping up-to-date records for our Finance department. Occasional basic advertising design work in Photoshop will also be required. Basic knowledge of art history and an interest in art are recommended.

  Gallery Network Internship

Responsibilities:
This internship is the perfect opportunity to get involved in marketing and the arts community at the entry level. The Gallery Network Intern reports to the Manager of Client Services and will be responsible for researching and contacting galleries in the United States and internationally, entering new gallery data into artnet’s extensive directory, while also simultaneously serving as a liaison between potential leads and our Sales team.

You will also assist our Gallery Network production team, posting artworks and exhibitions to gallery sites and ensuring that our artist database is kept current. Basic knowledge of art history and an interest in art are recommended.

Flexible schedule available, with a 3 to 4 month time commitment required. The internship is unpaid, but we will provide you with a small daily stipend to cover transportation and lunch expenses. Interns may also arrange with their college to receive course credit.
