artnet Estimate Reports

Similar to comparable real estate reports, our curators make judgments about artwork auction market transactions which are similar to unique pieces that interest you. We then provide you with a value estimate that you can use to update the value of your art object. artnet Estimate Reports are delivered in a timely and affordable manner, assisting investors and collectors with valuations on paintings, sculpture, works on paper, prints, photography, and even installations without a certified appraisal.

Here’s how they work:

1. Email us or call +1-212-497-9700 ext.201 and tell us how many artnet Estimate Reports you would like. Please include your daytime telephone number in your email or voicemail message.
   
   
2. We’ll call you to set up an account.
   
   
3. We will send you an email asking you to email us the following:
   

   JPEG or GIF image, include photo details such as signature or canvas reverse etc. The name of the artist The title of the work if known Year of the work, if known Medium Size (height x length x width) Any other pertinent information, such as provenance

4. We’ll send you your artnet Estimate Report by email, regular mail or overnight courier (you pay the shipping cost for the latter). Your artnet Estimate Report will include an estimate and results for up to 5 comparable pieces. Each result will have the following information:
